Best Italian Restaurants in Dewsbury

I don't live in Leeds and so had looked hard online for a reliable looking place for a meal for 4, and this did not disappoint! We had the set lunch menu and everything was just beautiful, from the simple bruschetta which was perfect, to a really exquisite smoked salmon fillet for starters ; our mains were a pork belly , a chicken schnitzel, a burger and a pizza. Everyone was happy and impressed - my schnitzel was so generous, with a delicious sauce & sauerkraut. Clearly a chef who knows and cares. Service was very attentive.

Delicious Sunday lunch, roast beef with all the trimmings, great portion size and plenty of gravy. Cauliflower cheese and our side of pigs in blankets were amazing. We rounded it all off with a bakewell meringue and summer berries crumble and custard. Very enjoyable afternoon, would definitely recommend.

Despite being Valentine’s Day and very busy, we were treated like we were the only people there by a fabulous team from the bar staff and front of house team, to the chefs. The food was outstanding and we would definitely visit again. It is to his credit that the Maitre D, Daniel did not want to be singled out but he deserves a mention for the way he orchestrated everything to make it a special evening.

I booked Riva Blu for an early valentines meal with my girlfriend. However we just ate off the main menu and we weren’t disappointed. Every dish, starter, main and, dessert was incredible and we ate the lot! The service from the staff were brilliant offering advice, opinions and informing us about the dishes we chose as well as letting us know to sign up via a QR code to get 50% off a bottle of wine. Overall the experience was amazing from ambience, food and the staff. We’ll definitely be coming back! We’ve told everyone from family to friends so hopefully our next booking will be a big one! Thanks again for such a wonderful evening.

Amazing food, new menu which was less options but didn’t matter as there are some brilliant choices on it. Staff were lovely , didn’t stop. Nice vibes ..always feel like you’re anywhere other than Wakefield!
