Best Japanese Restaurants in Knocklyon

It was one of the best experiences I have had in a very long time. Absolutely blown away From the decor to the atmosphere, the quality of food and flavour, and the service was just exceptional. Could not find a fault or flaw in anything. The wagyu tartar and duck were incredible, and so were all the other dishes. It was just the two of us, and we can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. My partner had been at Christmas with friends and raving about until we went together, and I can see why. The staff were brilliant. Had 5/6 different people check in when passing from Management to Front of House, food runners, barstaff etc but they were all so clued in and well trained and knowledgeable it was just great to see. Even the attention to the customer. When we were sat, it was across at the main door, which I thought felt a bit draughty with the weather that night which wasnt an issue, but they had us moved when a more comfortable bigger table came free without even having to ask. Just all those details that make it very rare that a restaurant hits all things like the decor, quality of food, quality of drinks, service, atmosphere, and concept, but Floritz did it perfectly. Now my favourite restaurant in the city. Hands down

The food was lovely. In fact I am already planning on going there again. There are some novelty elements to the restaurant, but they just add a unique element to the experience, and don't detract from it. Quite the opposite in fact. It is essentially a restaurant for "weebs" (western fans of Japanese culture). The Japanese servers, waving mog statues, artificial pink cherry blossom trees, robot server trays with cat faces on them bringing out your food, you get the picture. I wouldn't consider myself a weeb, but still found the whole thing pretty interesting. It was a nice change of pace.

Food felt high quality, portions were big (ramen and bento). Very happy.

We got a last minute table for two at the counter the weekend before Christmas. The service and food were amazing - it's not super cheap, but we felt like we had value for money.

As always 10/10 insane quality of food and service is amazing - food always comes out so quick.
