Best Japanese Restaurants in Wailua (Kauai)

I recently dined at here and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that they take pride in creating a welcoming and seamless dining experience. The ambiance was equally impressive.

Wasn’t terribly hungry upon the stress of my travel day, but the server hooked me up with two small plates of things he thought I’d like. One was a salad, that was so ridiculously decadent I can’t quite explain it, and the other was buttered scallops laid upon two little potato pillows. It was delicious and just the right amount of food. I’d definitely return if I wasn’t so keen on trying all the other things that keep catching my eye on this island. Treat yourself, come enjoy a meal with friends, loved ones, or even by yourself, like I did.

Aina Kauai’s cuisine was delicate but it leaves quite the impression. Everything was so very good - well executed and a delight to the eyes. Mitch is amazing and we commend him for what he has accomplished.

I am a repeat customer. Nearly every visitor who comes to see me I take there. I had 'girls weekend' last weekend and we all came to enjoy art walk and dinner. This visit was our son who's in college came to visit and my husband joined. Neither of them like any type of fish but found plenty to eat and enjoyed it all. It's becoming a favorite among our guests. Thank you!!

We arrived earlier than our reservation & they seated us immediately- I had read reviews & ordered accordingly- We began with the Golden Sliders and Lollipop rolls…both wonderful. My “Boss Steak” was prefect- melt in your mouth med-rare NY steak ( had sauces on the side ) & my husbands “Butter Me Up Roll” was received very well- They are leaving this Mall at end of December 24’- Hope they reopen on Kauai by time we return ❤️
