- OOlgaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on 7 Dec 2024Picky eaters who are craving for fresh seafood delivered to you right from Japan, please read this review. My requirements for food are very high, I have very sensitive palate to any even mildly non-fresh produce. The food here was amazing!!!! Seriously. Two days ago we were trying to celebrate personal event at Roka Akor and food quality there was so bad compared to Torii. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was mouthwatering and fresh/premium quality. Please order Truffle Tuma - unforgettable taste! Their uniju with eel - such a delish warm premium eel. Also hamachi maki roll was right Japanese quality with no sauces just plane and balanced taste. Even miso soup is full with seaweed - yum! The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great and they played Louis Armstrong ….ahhh it was such a wonderful visit. Highly recommended.More infoTorii Japanese InspiredPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Katy•4.8
