- AANNALondon •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI have recently discovered this gem of a place and cannot recommend it highly enough ( especially as it’s only a 10 minute walk from my house!) The restaurant is laid out to accommodate both small, intimate dinners/ drinks or larger gatherings, both of which can be going on without being disturbed or having to raise your voice to be heard. The menu is extensive and for those not familiar with Japanese cuisine, explains each dish clearly and simply. The serving staff also know their stuff if you need help. The drinks menu is also extensive serving a great range of wines, spirits , cocktails and of course, Japanese drinks. Last but not least, the prices are very reasonable. If you live in and around the N22 area, do give it a try. It’s located opposite Wood Green underground and loads of buses stop nearby too. I’ll be back in the New Year to enjoy another delicious dish or two. Can’t wait!More infoOITA Wood GreenPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Bounds Green/Wood Green•4.6
- DDanioLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLos Mochis London City, situated on the 9th floor of 100 Liverpool Street, offers a unique fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisines, blending the vibrant spirit of Tulum with the refined elegance of Tokyo. The restaurant features a stunning dining room with a sushi bar, a spacious rooftop terrace providing panoramic views of London, private dining spaces, and a lively Agaveria and lounge boasting one of Europe’s most extensive collections of tequila and mezcal. The menu is designed for sharing and is entirely gluten, nut, and celery-free, showcasing dishes such as fresh sashimi, maki rolls, ceviches, tiraditos, robata grill items, and unique tacos. The culinary approach emphasizes high-quality, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients sourced from top-tier artisans. a true gem in the City of London Overall, Los Mochis London City provides a distinctive dining experience that combines innovative fusion cuisine with breathtaking city views, making it a noteworthy destination for those seeking a blend of Mexican and Japanese flavors in a sophisticated setting.More infoLos Mochis London CityPrice: Very Expensive• Pacific Rim• Liverpool Street•4.3
- BBabakLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe recently visited this Aun as a group of five and had an overall enjoyable experience. The food was exceptional, with beautifully prepared dishes. The ambience was also delightful, creating a warm and inviting setting for our evening. However, the service fell short of expectations. We had to repeatedly request wine and food, which disrupted the flow of our meal. For a restaurant in this price range, we anticipated more attentive service. While we loved the food and atmosphere, improved service would elevate the experience to match the premium pricing.More infoAUNPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Stoke Newington•4.3
