Best Japanese Restaurants in Johnston

We have always loved Jacky's but this particular night was extra wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive; we had water within a minute of being seated, which I ALWAYS appreciate and do not take for granted. Our drinks (there were four of us) came out quickly as well, despite it being a moderately busy Saturday evening. We ordered a round of food (shrimp dim sum, crab rangoon, pineapple rice, lo mein) and everything came out spaced, which we love because then your table is not over-crowded, food stays hot, and you can enjoy each dish without feeling like you are over-stuffing too quickly. We then ordered two specialty sushi rolls and two small rolls. The food was excellent as always. Jacky's has and will continue to remain one of our favorite restaurants in Providence due to its location, beautiful views of the waterfront, consistency in dishes, and kind staff.

Excellent food and service, only complaint is that the tables were too close together

What a wonderful experience. We enjoyed watching our chef carefully slice and prepare each course. Flavorful combinations just melted in your mouth! Fun way to celebrate a birthday with good friends.

The service and food was good, I would only return if the music was not so loud, if felt like a night club and not a restaurant . I couldn’t speak across the table!

Attentive, thoughtful service. Large portions for Hibachi. Cool environment. Made sure to acknowledge our birthday celebration when we arrived and through a special dessert. Awesome spot.
