Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Grosse Pointe Park

I enjoyed the clean modern setting with a great view. Staff were very courteous and attentive, service was excellent. I thought the food was especially outstanding, at a great price for the quality. A great impression for my first visit, I intend on another and would definitely recommend.

Lovely little place! The spanakopita, Ekmek, and espresso martinis were all incredible. My partner got the lamb shank which was also super good, my steak was a little tough and slightly overdone but the flavor was great so I can’t complain too much. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff were all amazing. We will definitely be back!

The overall experience here was excellent. We went here for Valentine’s Day. There was a band playing smooth jazz in the entryway, but it was not excessively loud. I got the chicken shawarma and crushed lentil soup which were both to die for. My partner ordered the falafel and shrimp linguine which were also both excellent. The wait staff was a little less attentive than one would think for the number of people that were dining, but it was not a significant problem. The ambience was beautiful and romantic, and the prices were not exceptionally high given the quality of food and the atmosphere.

MATI was a beautiful experience. We ordered the Greek salad, saganaki, and the branzino. The Greek potatoes were great too. The services was great. We went on a Monday night so it was more quiet

Food and drinks were good. Enjoyed Happy Hour promos with cheap drinks and deals on apps. Spicy margs were great! Ate the beef tips, empanada, two sushi rolls, two tacos, and gelato and affagata for dessert. Highlights were the beef tips and the grilled halloumi taco. Sushi was very good as well Disappointed in the mushroom taco, which had a very heavy mustard/horseradish flavour with the sauce and the salted caramel chocolate gelato, which tasted more like chocolate brownie ice cream. Server started off very strong, then didn’t see him much and waited long towards the end of the meal. Hair on my espresso cup, which he saw me pull off. Asked for sugar with it but replied that most people don’t ask for it. Drank half without and came back to offer sugar, which I no longer needed. Artwork on walls is cool, but ambiance feels kind of cold. Reminds me of a bowling alley almost, for some reason. Overall, a few small issues but would visit again as the positives outweighed the negatives.
