Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Newark

As always, one of if not the best restaurants in Palo Alto and vicinities. The food is excellent and reliably delicious, the service is amazing- on short, the best.

Our service was top notch. The food looked beautiful and tasted great. We sat out on the terrace and it was lovely. Their cocktails were so good and beautiful!

We decided to dine here for the first time based on positive reviews. The location and restaurant itself is in a small strip mall. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. We enjoyed seeing the great Italian-themed pictures and art on the walls and accompanying low-volume music playing to give us a touch of Italy. The Petrale Sole (Special of the Day) was superb, perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sauce and vegetables very pleasing to the palate. The Risotto with scallops, sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes (another Special of the Day) was excellent. The service was top notch and most appreciated was the attention to our stated food allergies. We were too full to experience their dessert, so we have to go back another time soon.

Always a pleasure to dine at Meyhouse in Palo Alto. The food and service were exceptionally good this time around. Waiter suggested a great bottle of wine. Eggplant with yogurt and dumpling for the apps, Lamb chops, Grilled chicken with Orzo for the mains. Turkish coffee martini for dessert. Phenomenal dining. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed our experience. However the entree list seemed a bit limited.
