- PPatriciaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •47 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was a beautiful day and an adventure beckoned. We had wine to pick up at Kunde Winery so we were kind of in the neighborhood. I had seen Grossman's reviewed on Check Please and decided we had to try it. We initially were shown a table inside, but due to the warm weather opted for a 20 minute wait for an outside patio table. The hostess was very accommodating and the wait was well worth it. We were given the perfect amount of time to make our choices. I had a delicious, wonderfully messy lox and bagel sandwich and my husband a mind blowing smoked pastrami reuben - which he said was the best reuben he had ever eaten....and he's had a few. My choice had the perfect amount of balanced ingredients - lox, cream cheese, cucumber, tomato, capers, red onion and lightly toasted bagel. I dived into it with glee. We ordered a side of potato salad which was wonderfully creamy and elegant. And don't even start me on the kosher pickles. I grew up within a Ukrainian family with vereniki, cabbage rolls, hot borscht (need to have on menu) and had fun looking at the offerings that I grew up with. My husband lost his phone, but we didn't discover until we got home.. I kept calling his number and finally someone answered. That someone was the Manager, Matt Stern from Grossman's, where his phone dropped out of his pocket. Rather than saying we need to come up, he is mailing the phone to us, for which we are reimbursing him. So kind, so generous that he offered to take to post office and mail to us. We live about 60 miles from Grossman's, but we will be back. Not only for the food, but the spirit and kindness of the restaurant.More infoGrossman's Noshery & BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Santa Rosa•4.7

Exquisite food and unique and distinctive wines, lovingly prepared and presented, in a quiet and intimate where everyone feels at home. As recent transplants to Sonoma County, we were blessed to find this delicious slice of heaven.More infoSonoma Wine Shop & La BodegaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Sebastopol•4.9
- DDaydreamerVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •18 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Feb 2025I was pleasantly surprised by what instantly became one of my top-5 favorite local spots for delicious food. The restaurant ambiance including decór and music provide a swift trip to Greece while the food takes you up to a gastronomic cloud nine. My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch. He had the falafel sandwich and I had the exquisite Moussaka, the best I’ve had in a loooong while. We shared a succulent hummus with fluffy pita. The service was friendly and the food came out rather quickly from the kitchen. 5 stars for this spot. Can’t wait to return.More infoMezzelunaPrice: Expensive• Greek• Rohnert Park•4.7
