Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Carrum Downs

We caught up with old friends and had a very enjoyable evening at Waves. It was a very warm evening and we enjoyed sitting inside in air conditioned comfort. The food was excellent. They were very busy so understandably at one point a drink order appeared to have been forgotten apart from that staff were very nice & attentive. The hostess was very thoughtful adjusting the blind to protect our eyes from the sun. The view of the sunset over the pier and bay is spectacular. Parking is a bit of an issue as people park there to go to the beach & it’s paid parking but we found places after 7 pm. Highly recommend planning time to find a park.

Donovan’s = excellence! From the warm welcome, to the diverse menu, the delightful waiter skills of Isabella, and the most delicious food, this was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s 95th birthday. Thanks to all at Donovan’s.

We had drinks here for my husband’s birthday. The service was great and all staff were attentive. We both ordered the scotch fillet steak which was very tender. The only thing that I could complain about was that the salad needed a bit more oomph. The watermelon sour cocktail was delicious 🍸

Again great service, great coffee and great food. The wait staff are amazing.

The choice of mains disappointed. Everything else was perfect
