It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!

Great food and service. Went for a family dinner and had lovely freshly cooked food. 100% recommended

Excellent service. Food was tasty - I did however have a couple of minor criticisms, which I shared with the waiter. Nothing to spoil it overall. Mash, salads, bisque main were delicious. Overall would definitely recommend.

Our team had a wonderful work Christmas lunch at Lussmanns Hitchin today. It provided a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Everybody loved their food and the staff were amazing. Can't wait to go back. There was a great selection on the menu - something for everyone. A big shout out for the sprout tops - we loved them. Thank you to the Lussmanns team.
