Best Modern European Restaurants in Flamstead

There is a lovely cosy atmosphere in this quaint historic place. Staff are very welcoming and accomodating - we had our two young daughters with us. The food was excellent -great quality, taste and portion size. I had kipper croquettes and the chalk stream trout, both delicious. Deserts are always great, plum crumble and Bramley apple cheesecake are highly recommended.

Staff members were amazing and attentive. The fried rice was definitely the stand out dish but all dishes and wine’s were amazing. Overall, I had a great time

Thoroughly enjoyable! We had the two course set menu for about £20. Plenty of choice. I had the Spiced Lamb Flatbread which was delicious followed by the Plum Crumble with Ice Cream. The hazelnuts in the crumble mix were lovely!

Wonderful ambience, great service and food was delicious. We had the cheese soufflé, butternut squash soup to start, Goose and Turkey Shepherds Pie, haddock and chips and risotto for our main courses. Friendly service and we were in and out in an hour and a half, in time for a theatre matinee at 2pm.

Great food and service, fun place. A bit noisy on a Saturday
