"A unique and beautiful pizzeria in one of the hidden gems of South London; Venn St"We opened our pizzeria in Clapham a few years ago with a simple mission; serve great food in a beautiful space, like with all of the Berberè sites. Now, a few years later we have lovely local following that come in droves, especially at the weekend.Although open all year round, from springtime onwards you can sit outside on the terrace with a negroni, glass of prosecco or a craft beer and transport yourself to Italy, surrounded by festoon lights and olive trees. Inside, you'll find two beautiful rooms with an open kitchen that spreads across the two sides. If you're lucky and book enough in advance, you could hire the side room for a private booking (up to 40 people). We've had people celebrate birthdays galore, wedding parties, end of exam parties to name a few - you name the occasion and we'll sort the party.

Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we're able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, and we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas.Beers on tap include our own Fatto Bionda Helles Lager and Joosy Hazy Pale from Brighton’s UnBarred, and The Kernel’s Table Beer. We work with small producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, Campania and wines imported directly from private Italian growers. The pizzeria menu features classics such as Margherita, salsiccia e friarielli, diavola and Fatto a Mano's scugnizielli dessert, whilst also featuring modern additions including lasagna pizza, homemade arancini and our own vegan 'nduja pizza.

    I attending the pizza making class which was a real treat. Our chef was well versed in the art of making pizza. He was very friendly, funny and approachable. He made us feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from them and teaching and explaining were we’ve went wrong. Tasty pizza, lovely environment great staff and drinks I’d highly recommend to a friend!!

    The pizzas were amazing here, honestly the best base and crusts we’ve ever had. The toppings were great quality and cooked to perfection. I really liked that the there wasn’t a huge choice, as that’s off-putting, just good choices done very well. It’s under a railway arch so there is the sound of trains rumbling over occasionally, but we quite liked that! We were there during a weekday so it was very quiet. Staff were great too, friendly and helpful.

    Had a great time with our experience overall (always). We celebrated my friend's bday and it went well. The staff was really accommodating and was quick in terms of service. Me and my husband are regular customer in this pizza resto. Their pizza is always on the top our list. Kudos to all the staff specially to the manager who is always providing the best service.👌 We'll definitely come back soon!
