- WWhitneyVIPLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food and vibes were great! Our waitress, Casey, was amazing. Only thing that was really annoying was their obvious urge to turn tables over. In a matter of minutes, we had 4-5 separate people try to take our food that we were clearly still eating (literally said “no thank you, we’re still working on that” while we were mid-chew). The same thing happened with our drinks. We had a bottle of champagne in an ice bag that we repeatedly had people take out of the bag to check how much was remaining. Other than feeling rushed, this place was awesome.More infoPizzeria PortofinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8

- KKathleenChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThere were five in our party, four of us had the pizza which is always delicious, oh that sweet sauce! One of us had the sautéed chicken , it was tender and flavorful, it could have fed three people. We also had the fried zucchini with ranch dressing, very yummy and crunchy , there was plenty for all five of us. Our server was excellent, we waited for nothing even though it was a busy night. - DDianaVIPChicago / Illinois •89 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAs fans of Rose Mary we were eager to try El Carciofi and willing to take a 4:45 reservation. This is as fun and as delicious as Rose Mary and shares the same approach to dining—shareable small plates. Interesting craft cocktails, sufficient wines by the glass, exceptionally well trained wait staff and very flavorful food. Gus menu was all Rome inspired so it was a little less diverse than Rose Mary. The artichokes were spectacular crisply Rome style. Every inch was edible. Two to an order but they bring you a serrated knife if you want to have them. We had one other appetizer (calamari), one pasta and one seafood main. The portions are great for two to share but if three or four order another something or two and expect to get just a couple bites not full servings. They have $8 servings of gelato and sorbet and a couple amazing deserts they offered to checkout coats.a nice touch in Chicago’s winter. It’s easy to spend $100 per person if you gave two drinks each and desert. We found street parking but forgot to feed the meter since the sign wasn’t obvious so double checkMore infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.7
- AAliciaVIPChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Good food and good service. We were grateful to find a restaurant open on Christmas Day. Christmas Day was Wednesday and their Wednesday specials were $9.99 drinks and $12.99 pasta. I had the baked ziti off the $12.99 pasta menu. My husband had chicken Vesuvio. The food had really good flavor. We were also offered a salad with our meal for an extra dollar. The quality of salad was very good. I had the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I ate every drop of the salad. As an appetizer, we had calamari. Again very good we will definitely come back.More infoPaisans Pizza - Oak LawnPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Oak Lawn•4.4
