Get the salad! Everything was excellent but the salad with shaved asparagus and the scallops with artichokes and foie gras as well as grilled octopus were outstanding! The service was fabulous as well. A delightful experience overall! Would highly recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious all around. Everything we tasted was simply great. What a discovery. On the other hand…OMG man…the prices are just terrible. I mean, an entry costing 20-24$…extremely expensive. The wines…expensive. The main course…definitely not cheap, but something you would expect from a main course are such a restaurant. And damn…the suggested tip starts at 18%. I mean, at these prices I would expect the restaurant pays damn well its employees, not each even deeper in customers’ pockets and make them feel uncomfortable if they want to leave less than 18%, even though everything was excellent. So, I would definitely lower the prices on entries and wines as well as minimum suggested tip to some 10%, definitely not more.

Food was terrific and both it and house wine were very reasonably priced. My wife had piri piri shrimp which was very tasty but probably could have been a little spicier for her given her tastes but very very good. I had madiera beef brochette which was excellent. Place was a little quiet for Saturday night but a larger group did come in and twice before I couldn't get a reservation earlier in the week. Place us a real gem and montrealers should pack the place every night
