- TTheresaGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a great evening at the white house. We could only get booked for food at the bar and were unsure what to expect but the high table and bar stools were perfectly fine (lovely, in fact) and we weren’t so close to the bar that we had lots of folk around us. The area we were sat was surprisingly private even tho we were close to the bar area. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive and the food (Xmas menu) was great. We enjoyed it so much we stayed on and had some shots and cocktails. We were not rushed along by the staff- I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for great food in a gorgeous setting with excellent staff.More infoThe White HousePrice: Moderate• Scottish• Inverness•4.5
- AAnnInverness / Scottish Highlands •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoStarter was vile - 3 puddings & warm tomato chutney - but that was just MY taste. Main meal of Turkey and trimmings was fine, Turkey good & plenty of it, brussels cooked to perfection, Couldn’t tell if it was mashed turnip or carrot , mashed tatties - hmmm debatable, stuffing - olastic and uneasiness, , roast tatties - only 2 tiny ones on plate so not much to write about. Neal was hot which was good. Service was excellent given that there was every table filled and as it was party night the noise level was diabolical but sounded like everyone was having a good time. - EElpidaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Nov 2024Aye Eat is a hidden gem in Inverness that confirmed why I've fallen in love with this city! Every bite was a revelation. The scotch eggs had a perfectly crisp exterior and a delightfully runny yolk. The soup of the day, bursting with flavor, warmed us right up. The mussels were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the Christmas dessert paired with mulled wine was a festive delight. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the fantastic service. Nina and Kieran were the epitome of hospitality – friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. Their attempt to converse in French with my boyfriend added a special touch to the charming atmosphere. Kieran, consider this a friendly challenge – next time, I expect a rendition of the Greek 🇬🇷 anthem to complete the experience! We can't wait to return!More infoAye EatPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Inverness•3.9
