Excellent service from Sean who was attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant and paced the meal exactly as we wanted. Lobster cakes delicious. NY strips needed to be returned to get them med rare but this was done quickly and a couple of staff checked back to make sure they we were happy. No holiday decor in sight but elegant restaurant and our booth was quiet and easy to converse. Still our favorite downtown steakhouse!More infoManny's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Downtown / North Loop•4.7
- NNancyMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe restaurant was fully booked on Christmas Eve, our reservation was running late due to patrons staying longer than usual. We were delighted to find seating in the bar instead and were equally delighted with the service, the excellent food and reasonable prices. It was a wonderful experience all around.More infoMcCormick & Schmick's - EdinaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Edina•4.5

From the moment we were greeted at the front desk to saying our goodbyes as we picked up our coats the experience was one of joy and delight. The staff was great. The quiet tone in the restaurant was inviting/comforting. The drinks hit the spot, including the Penicillin cocktail, which isn’t a “typical” beverage but was spot on. Our food was amazing and the steaks are some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you to the staff of 801 – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!More info801 Chophouse - MinneapolisPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Loring Park•4.8
- GGregoryMinneapolis - St. Paul •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAll I did was add the “birthday” option to our reservation on Open Table and Oceanaire did not disappoint. From the moment we checked in at the host station, throughout the meal (the menus had “Happy Birthday” printed on them) to the Baked Alaska dessert, we were wished the happiest of birthdays and thoughtfully cared for by the staff.More infoOceanaire Seafood Room - MinneapolisPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown / North Loop•4.8

I’d say that was just the Holiday spilling over, but that’s always the way it is at Smack Shack when I’ve been there in the past. Our server was completely attentive, even when we threw him a couple of ‘audibles’. Even the big guy bringing the food out was outstanding. Great team! And then there is the food. Without hesitation, I would say second to none!!!More infoThe Smack ShackPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown / North Loop•4.5
