    We came to Cape May for a romantic post-engagement getaway, and the Washington Inn did not disappoint. This place is perfect for everyone. We saw friends, families, and couples gathered together for good food and drinks. We loved our food, cocktails, and our waitress, Rachel! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cape May. The food, drinks, and ambience were perfect. Thank you to the staff at the Washington Inn! We will be back and we will recommend it to all our friends!

    The entrees were all very good and fresh. Osso bucco was delicious as was the red and white branzino. As appetizers, we had calamari and gorgonzola gnocchi which are always fresh and tender. We sat in the area that is enclosed and it was warm but fairly loud. I would have preferred indoor but the place was very crowded Thanksgiving weekend. A very good dinner and I surely will go back again.

    I have been to the Avalon Gold Club numerous times for lunch. I enjoyed each visit. Today I was there for the Thanksgiving buffet. There were many food choices to pick from. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Even though alot of people were seated the place was remarkably quiet - so you got to enjoy your meal and conversation with people at your table. I am returning twice in December - once for my birthday and the other Christmas Eve day and I look forward to each visit.
