- RRachelNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent raw oysters, and the fried oysters were fabulous. We went at happy hour, so a great value. Liv's $5 white wine selection during HH was very good. Low noise level because not many people there as early as we were; I've been there before when the dining room is full, and it can be noisy. Our waiter was knowledgeable and available whenever we needed him.More infoLiv's Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Old Saybrook•4.8

- DDonaldNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was absolutely excellent. And had an exsquisit bottle of wine on discounted wine Mondays which I was not aware of. I would recommend this for a very very nice dinner out for anyone.More infoJ. Gilbert’s – Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood – GlastonburyPrice: Expensive• Steak• Glastonbury•4.8
- CCarol KoschekaVIPSouth Carolina •33 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe really enjoyed our meal at the Halyard. We ordered several appetizers which consisted of calamari, squid, clams and the ricotta with honey. All of our appetizers were delicious. Compliments to the chef. We then ordered the chicken, short ribs and bolognese. All of our meals were so delicious. The short ribs were perfect for a chilly January evening. All of us were pretty full, but decided to try the desserts. Definitely worth saving room for dessert. The espresso creme brûlée is probably the best brûlée we have ever had. We also had the banana ice cream dessert which was fantastic. Definitely put this restaurant on your trip out east.More infoThe Halyard Restaurant at Sound ViewPrice: Expensive• American• Greenport•4.4

Our waitress, Barbara, was very friendly, energetic, helpful and wonderfully nice-she gets all the kudos for a great visit.
