Our group staggered their arrivals and the food came in a timely fashion so we all had our meals at the same time. Patrick was very attentive to refilling drinks, etc.More infoClyde's of Chevy ChasePrice: Moderate• American• Friendship Heights•4.6
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSometimes the greatest luxury is when something simple is done absolutely flawlessly. Our anniversary dinner at Black Salt fits that description. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant is open to individual preferences and tweaks. The food was extremely fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Portions were not huge, but satisfying, and beautifully plated. We had oysters, steamed clams, red snapper and fried Ipswich (belly) clams. The oysters were fresh and they had about eight varieties to choose from. The clams were served in a nice garlicky tomatoey broth. The fish was perfectly grilled and lightly seasoned to bring out the flavor. The sides were delicious in themselves. Every vegetable in a medley of mixed vegetables tasted exactly like that vegetable should taste. I suspect they had been cooked and seasoned separately and then joined together at plating. A purée of turnips and parsnips was light and tasty with a nice parsnippy sweetness. A simple salad was fresh and perfectly dressed with a light house vinaigrette. A cranberry orange flan served with a fresh fruit salad completed the meal. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8

Users of the health club directly above the restaurant cause noise when they drop weights on the floor. Menu could use more variety. For example a chicken dish. shrimp scampi or shrimp with noodles could be made using product already on the menu.More infoThe Salt Line - BethesdaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bethesda•4.5
- MMelissaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •16 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We go to Morton's as a special Christmas Eve dinner tradition. Our food and service did not disappoint!! Not only was the food delicious, we were treated do well. It is such a nice fine dining experience. What made the night complete, and the best, was our server. Our waiter, Severin, is AMAZING!!! We had him last year and requested to be sat at one of his tables this year, which the restaurant kindly honored our request! He is so personable and really gets to know his customers. He made several recommendations which were spot on. We cannot wait to go back!More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - BethesdaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Bethesda•4.5
