- VVirginiaSt. Louis •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLove 801Chop for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. The staff is very responsive but not overly attentive. The bartenders are professional and friendly and make delicious cocktails. The food is excellent and served timely. Love the location. The patrons are festive and friendly. The disaster of our initial seating was averted by us requesting to move away from the raucously loud 4 top table to a booth where everyone was happy!!More info801 Chophouse - St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Clayton•4.7
- TThomasVIPSt. Louis •22 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoParty of 3 adults on Christmas Eve: appetizers Tempura Shrimp and Shisito Peppers - 5 stars. New England Clam Chowder 4 stars. Caesar Salad- 5 stars but needed more lemon. Entrees: lobster fried rice-4 star. Lobster Risoto-5 star. Salmon Special-2 Stars-great flavor but over cooked even though I asked for it to be rare. Service- 3 stars- waiter was loud and only filled our champagne glasses once from the bottle. Ambience/Noise Level-4 stars. Value: wine list was over priced, more than 2 times if you bought it at a store, but probably customary for some (but not all) high end restaurants. I should have ordered the Cioppino.More info801 Fish - STLPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Clayton•4.6

- LLynneSt. Louis •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoEric was a great server - he took care of us well. I had the salmon, grilled. My wife had the sea bass - it was delicious! We're not big on orzo as a side, so we split a generous serving of mashed potatoes. We laughed about broccoli being the "seasonal" vegetable in late December. I guess it's seasonal somewhere! We were surprised there wasn't bread on the table. No dessert - too full.More infoLandry's Seafood House - St LouisPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown St. Louis•4.3
