- JJohnHouston •6 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoI always order the same thing - Pollo Encamisadao and was not disappointed. The Tres Leches is a must every visit and it's the best in the world, IMHO. My friends had the Pork Tenderloin and is was so tender and so well seasoned.More infoChurrascos - River OaksPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.6
- PPaulVIPHouston •64 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDining at Amore was a treat. I think my Chilean Sea Bass was the best I have eaten in Houston. My fried artichoke was excellent as usual although the stem was inedible because this is not the best season for artichokes. My wifes regala seafood dish was also very good. The prices are reasonable for white table cloth dining and service was attentive but not intrusive. My only minor complaint was that the music was a bit too loud. I'm not sure why restaurants feel the need for loud music that drowns out conversation. Also, why does an Italian or French or Japanese restaurant see the need to play American pop music. I never returned to one restaurant which served good food because their music was rock played at an ear splitting volume. I will not ever return to one of the new one star Michelin restaurants because they refused to lower the volume of their pop music which was culturally at odds with their cuisine.More infoAMORE Italian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.7
- LLEBAHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLove the food, service and ambiance. But the noise level is such that you have to speak very loudly to your companions, even during lunch. Some padding under the tables might help.More infoRuggles Black -West AlabamaPrice: Expensive• American• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.8

I really am so happy I visited this restaurant for my bday, they made me feel like a vip and as someone visiting Houston for the first time I am really impressed! I will definitely come back here again for another special occasion!More infoTruluck's - Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- AAnnetteDallas - Fort Worth •7 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Dec 2024We had an excellent meal last night. We started dinner by sharing the crab cake. It was divine! Large pieces of crabmeat and not much filling. One of the best crab cakes I have ever eaten. We both had steak which was cooked perfectly but the buttered lobster mashed potatoes were to die for! The service was excellent. It was a bit noisy but there was a Christmas party near us so we understood. Just a lovely dinner and evening! We will definitely be back when we are in town.More infoEddie V's - West AvePrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River Oaks•4.9
