We had an incredible experience at Maximes From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the beef tartare, the burrata, the sea bass was a perfect blend of flavor. The dessert menu was equally impressive, with the tiramisu being a true standout. The attention to detail, both in the service and the food, was truly top-notch. This is easily one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. We extend our gratitude to every individual who contributed to the impeccable service that evening. From the thoughtful seating arrangement overlooking a vibrant display of fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, and fruits to the attentive service that paired our meal with a delightful bottle of Petit Chablis Blanc, every detail was expertly curated. The evening culminated in a celebratory dessert of Greek yogurt, elegantly garnished with pomegranate seeds and mint—a perfect ending to a remarkable experience. Our meal began with house-made bread and olive oil, complemented by a refreshing tomato salad as an appetizer. For the main course, we enjoyed expertly grilled Balada fish accompanied by steamed broccoli and succulent lamb chops. The server’s meticulous walkthrough of the fresh seafood selection, artfully presented on ice, added an engaging touch, highlighting the restaurant’s dedication to authentic Greek cuisine. This establishment comes highly recommended, and we eagerly anticipate returning with friends in the near future. We visit the Keg on King on a regular basis. Always a great experience. Great food and excellent service. What more could one ask for. This time we dined on Christmas Eve. Loved it.

I met with a friend for happy hour. We ordered 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio and a couple of beers, the mussel too which this time unfortunately were a bit too garlicky and chewy. We also had the fried haddock bites which was pretty good as well as the salmon tartare- a bit pricey for the amount as there was more avocado than actual salmon. Overall the experience was good and we will be back to try some other dishes.
