Best Seafood Restaurants in Manitou Springs

Bonny & Read is our go-to place for special occasions and celebrations. Both the service and food has always been excellent. On this Xmas eve dinner, we had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server, Zack, was friendly, professional, and attentive. We started with calamari and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. For our entrees, we had the lobster tails, alfredo shrimp pasta, and Tuscany salmon. Everything tasted great and were cooked perfectly; not overcooked and undercooked.

Please know that we appreciated the quietness of the dining room. And this was the BEST meal we have every had: Lobster appetizer, Caesar salad, halibut with exquisite sauce. LOVELY

We spent Christmas Eve mid afternoon dinner. Everyone was in the mood for fun and it certainly was that. Thank you for sharing our Christmas this year.

We were seated immediately, our waiter was amazing as he went over the remarkable menu, told us his favorites and also made great recommendations. The service was perfectly timed, The drinks were fabulous, the Arancini and Fried Calamari were outstanding with incredible sauces for both. The Shrimp Fra Diaviola was delicious, so was the Chicken Picatta and the Tonios Rigatoni. They also provide salads so 2 Traditional & 2 Caesar were both excellent. The Dessert menu was awesome but we were so full we couldn’t order one. Can’t wait to return to try more on the menu!

From the second you walk through the door, you feel like family. This was my first visit and has already become a staple for us. Carlos greets you with a vibrant smile and genuine excitement for you being there! From the first greeting to the closing of the check, you feel 100% taken care of and valued. An amazing and beautiful dinner. I have never been to a restaurant where the host met u at your car. Carlos Bistro is an exceptional restaurant with mouth watering entrees. The pork belly was so good and oysters on the half shell very fresh. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Carlos.
