Best Seafood Restaurants in Olathe

Server was Emily. She was super upbeat and fun. She made some great suggestions and was patient while we made choices. The food was excellent. Very large portions. Great cocktail and dessert menus. And there are some really great values on the menu if you know where to look. Also the current holiday menu has great deals, too. Great restaurant.

We had a great lunch at Bristol's. We were able to choose from the lunch or dinner menu options. We had a 5 top and everyone's food was delicious, service was perfect, and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Tori was the best server we’ve ever had at your lovely establishment She went above & beyond in providing excellent support & suggestions for entrees plus attentive to refilling drinks extra biscuits w/ yummy butter & the desert was divine I have seafood allergies so she was careful to check & recheck my custom pasta w/ grilled chicken was created perfectly & so delicious. From the moment we checked in - and we were early, we were greeted, and taken to our table. We were the first in the room for the evening. Our waiter greeted us, and quickly gave us a cocktail menu, and full menus. I explained that I had not eaten lunch and was famished. He literally suggested a great lemondrop cocktail to take off the edge, after serving some waters, I ordered his suggestion and was completely amazed. it was great! and I ordered the cheese and charcuterie board to start. Our guests arrived and they ordered a cocktail and he suggested that he go over the menu with us. I had the Special of the House which is a filet, covered in Blue Cheese and Figs. I also had a great small ceasar salad, and the house soup which is a corn and crab bisque. SO GOOD! Our entrees came on time, after we had finished our soup, salad and cheese board, I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and it was perfect. He suggested a dessert and we were too full. So happy that we continue to go to this Kansas City legendary memory - we will be back again.

We had not been to J. Gilbert's for a number of years. We found we had been missing one of KC's most wonderful dining experiences. The meal was outstanding and delicious with excellent steaks cooked strictly to order. J. Gilbert's has a large wine list which features varieties of all types at many price levels. Service was very, very good and great service is hard to find these days. The physical beauty, warmth and vibe are welcoming and charming. The place reminded me of how steakhouses used to be and how they should be now for today's guests.
