Best Seafood Restaurants in Scripps Ranch

We always have lunch at Pacifica Del Mar on New Year's Day. Has been our tradition for 25 years and there is no better way to start the new year. Beautiful ocean view, impeccable service, great menu selections, piping hot delicious food, wow factor cocktails...it all adds up to an amazing experience. Highly recommend. Try the prawn cocktail, mixed greens salad, sugar-spiced salmon, and burnt cream. Grapefruit martini was fire!

Beautifully remodeled Brigantine. We had the pleasure of sitting in the middle dining room for lunch on New Year’s Day. Eric was our server and he was fantastic. Attentive without being overbearing. The food was good; we had the crab cake as an appetizer, 2 bowls of chowder and the shrimp and Louie salad as well as the swordfish tacos. All was good with the salad being a substantial portion. Overall, the Poway Brig is well-appointed with good service and decent food. Server Eric is the bomb! We plan on coming back for brunch on Sunday. Would be nice if they offered cappuccinos and lattes vs regular coffee.

Get the Japanese sweet potatoes, I promise you will not be disappointed! So amazing! The drinks were great, my BF loved his oysters. Their bread is next level. The grouper with mis soy sauce was just ok for us. Not very flavourful, and it's not fully cooked, which for my BF was fine, but for me was inedible, just bc the texture was not pleasing on top of the lack of flavor. Everything else those exceeded our expectations! Can't wait to go back!

Finally a FRESH SEAFOOD DOWN TO EARTH CLASSY Restaurant that provides the ultimate in freshness in every ingredient tasted this night. My wife and I frequent seafood restaurants all over the Pacific including Maui and other neighboring islands. Only one that came close is Merrimans' not Mama's. The Fishery is the Real Deal and Thanks to the wonderful mind and hard work of the Owner and its' hard workers and especially the Chef who have nailed this hard to please type of cuisine and preparation.... This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.
