Best Seafood Restaurants in Madeira Beach

What a great dining experience! From the minute we entered to the minute we left, service was impeccable, almost to a fault. My husband and I have potentially the most annoying combination of food allergies, and they did a lot of research to ensure we were not going to be compromised. Monica, our server, was so attentive and genuine and gave us some great recommendations. Ultimately, we had the scallops and the special, which was an American snapper. Both were perfectly cooked and very lightly seasoned so as not to cover up the seafood flavors. My husband even ate and enjoyed the veggies, which is highly unusual for him. Don't leave without trying the Monica's cornbread. So delicious! The wine list was stacked with wines that complement the menu, and the beer list contained the elusive North Coast Scrimshaw, which made our experience all the more enjoyable. The ambiance is fully MCM, which I love! The noise level did increase as the evening went on, but we could still carry on a conversation. You also can't beat the location right across the water. All told, this was a fabulous dining experience, and we will be back soon!

Love this atmosphere you had the tank with all the fish the drawings, paintings and the reception of the staff. Seen how everyone was treated with a royal attitude of gratefulness they were in this establishment, my wife had the salmon and I had the New York strip are appetizer was the crab dip and I must say this steak was tender prepared well as well as my wife's salmon. Would like to especially give an honorable mention to Kaylie our server full of energy we will one of the last ones of that evening and to see the exuberance the kindness as much energy is when you start your shift and she was incredibly amazing of explaining the items to us being our first time there. Well worth the trip from Lakeland for a valentine holiday and also the fact that roses were given to the dates on behalf of the restaurant this shows that details were beyond anything you would think of. The other side of the restaurant saying an energy level TVs with many different items being shown a lot of energy guitarist was singing and playing and I noticed this how everybody in this place work together with such a respect and the success of each table from each person working.

Guppy's has always been a go-to favorite of ours - and if possible, it has gotten even better. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and treated warmly but professionally - seated at our requested porch table on Valentine's Day, we knew the place would be busy, but service and quality was not impacted one bit. Great drinks, unfortunately still a poor wine list and prices that seem to have not been raised in memory - Guppy's has become a value dining spot - Angels on Horseback (oysters sweet and fresh - bacon just right - sauce perfect) - shrimp and grits with perfectly cooked shrimp and just enough heat to be interesting as the grits were creamy and tender - the black grouper was grilled again, perfectly - with a slice of key lime pie by a bay area baker that was perfection - a decaf espresso and a fine evening of dining, service and ambiance topped a great Valentine's Day. A shout out to David S for excellent, attentive service throughout the evening - a helpful suggestion to management - relieve the servers of some of the busing dishes to allow more customer interaction - you need another bus boy.

Don’t underestimate this Doc Fords location. Nice setting on the water. Music in their patio and with this bra weather — it doesn’t get any better. Food was delicious. I had one of their new menu additions— the pork chop. Large chop and cooked to perfection. My husband had oysters and the Yucatán shrimp. This is his go to and once again it did not disappoint.

Amazing experience overall, Holly was awesome. It was pretty loud and difficult to have a conversation. The music playlist was 70s hits, love that. The food was outstanding! We started with the crab rangoon dip, this was the best crab dip I’ve ever had. The fish and chips were fluffy, fresh and light. The Tuna Poke bowl was flavorful and refreshingly delicious. To end the meal, the key lime pie was like pudding, so amazing!
