- BBrendaNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA last-minute change in plans meant I had to scramble to come up with Thanksgiving dinner plans for me, my husband, and a houseguest. I used Open Table to find Seasons 52 in Plano. It turned out to be a great option. Our reservation was at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The place was packed, but the host and staff managed the crowd like professionals. Service was running a little behind because it took about 15 minutes for us to be seated. Noah was our server, and he was great. We ordered the Thanksgiving Day meal as opposed to ordering from the regular menu, which was an option. We all ordered the butternut squash soup, which wasn't part of the Thanksgiving meal ... it was just okay. The first thing I noticed was that lack of a creamy consistency; you could smell the chicken stock. The meal itself consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry compote, sweet potatoes, and green beans. We added dessert from their selection of oversized shot glass sweets. I had the pumpkin pie ....outstanding. I thought the turkey dinner was delicious and a great value for $40. My husband thought it was just okay. Our houseguest didn't like the soup but thought the food was good. I chose Seasons 52 because I had been there in the past and like their food. For the most part, I wasn't disappointed, especially since this was the first Thanksgiving where we ate out, I would recommend it as an option.More infoSeasons 52 - PlanoPrice: Expensive• American• Plano•4.9
- RRichardDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFood, ambience, and service were excellent. While I enjoyed the music, which is reflective of my generation, it was a little loud. It was difficult to hear our guests at the other end of the booth. Sean took care of us well, as did the other staff. Appreciation as well goes to one of the hostesses, who took my call earlier in the day, when I inquired about the possibility of being able to order a fried shrimp option for my wife. She spoke with the chef I believe, and she responded in the affirmative, which added to the joy of our dining experience. One more shout out to the valet staff, who were the first on the scene to greet us and the last to send us on our way. One gentleman matched my sense of humor, which was nice. Thanks again for a good time.More infoDel Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House - PlanoPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Plano•4.8
- TToddvipDallas - Fort Worth •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoNormally, we have Thanksgiving with friends and family, but this year just didn’t work out. So we chose Truluck’s, but wondered how good their Thanksgiving meal would be since they are known more for steak and seafood. The Thanksgiving menu gave you three choices of appetizer and two choices for dessert along with the turkey with fixings as the main course. The turkey was fantastic. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of fat and flavor. The sides and gravy were delicious too. So if you need to eat out for Thanksgiving, consider Truluck’s.More infoTruluck's - Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab - PlanoPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Plano•4.9
