Best Seafood Restaurants in The Tropicana

This review is for both newcomers to Joe’s and for those coming back again. First off if you’ve never been, treat yourself. Get the stone crab claws. They are worth the price. Also if you like superb service it’s the place to go for the freshest seafood and prime steaks. If you are a returning guest they currently have a seasonal fish, dorade. Wow. I recommend the sauce on the side. The fish is delicious without it but even better with just a drizzle. Joe’s never disappoints. One of the best restaurants in Vegas!

For Valentines Day, my wife andI had the pleasure of dining at Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, located within the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The restaurant’s ambiance captures the vibrant essence of New Orleans, creating a lively yet intimate setting. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with insightful recommendations. We began our meal with the fried oysters and gumbo—both appetizers were flavorful and set the tone for the evening. For the main course, I opted for the king salmon and mill grits-both packed with rich bold flavor My wife enjoyed the Carolina seafood jambalaya, a hearty dish brimming with perfectly cooked seafood and rich, spicy flavors.. Overall, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House offers a dining experience that combines exceptional food, outstanding service, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of New Orleans in the heart of Las Vegas.

My colleague and I had breakfast here on our last day in town before going home. He had heard lovely things from other attendees at the conference we were at, and since we already had dinner plans on Wednesday night, we decided to eat here for breakfast. I’m glad we made a reservation, because by the time we left the place was packed. Our waitress was fantastic, she even brought me a glass of ice so I could drink my Diet Coke. (Only Pepsi at this resort). I had one of the crêpes of the day, bananas, foster, drizzled with Nutella. And my colleague also had crêpes of the day, but he selected raspberry and lemon curd.  it is a sizable plate of food, I was amazed that my colleague finished his, I could only get halfway. We also both had a coffee drink, I requested a vanilla latte and he had regular coffee, both were outstanding. And our waitress was the absolute best! If you are in Las Vegas and need a breakfast place, this is absolutely five stars.

The service there was excellent. Place is quiet and nice looking. Steak was cooked perfectly. The only thing for me was the quality of my bone in rib eye. Chef did a great job in making it exactly how we wanted it. But having tried many bone in rib eyes at steakhouses. This one was just ok. Wasnt top quality meat. But it was still good especially since it was cooked well. Overall was a good experience and i ate almost all of my steak so it was good enough. The asparagus was also cooked perfectly. Not over or undercooked and was tasty.

Still one of the great steak dinner in Las Vegas.
