- RRenaVancouver / British Columbia •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed a beautiful meal and terrific drinks, and the friendliest service! Impressed! Our first visit to West Oak and we sat on the patio, which despite being chilly & rainy outside was cozy & comfortable -- and quieter than the main dining room. Appreciated the gluten-free options and the knowledgeable, caring servers. A special rave for the GF calamari - a fantastic appetizer that came with a generous green salad on the side, perfectly dressed. Our reservation was for 6:15 pm -- on the early side -- which worked out well for us as it was only at around 8:30 pm (as we were wrapping up) that the noise level on the enclosed patio became too much for a three-way conversation. The place was hopping at that point!More infoWestOak RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Yaletown•4.7

This restaurant offers a seasonal menu where the freshness of the ingredients — especially fish and vegetables — takes center stage. The service is exceptional, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that enhances the whole experience. Make sure you try the ceviche, which is simply divine, and the salmon with its perfectly crispy skin, a true masterpiece of flavor and texture. Both dishes showcase how fresh ingredients can shine when skillfully crafted. With its relaxed atmosphere and a touch of creativity in the menu, Oddfish is the perfect spot for casual dinners or special occasions. Don’t miss the chance to discover this gem in Vancouver!
