- EEmanuelVIPBaltimore / Maryland •22 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went just after noon on a Saturday. Based upon previous experience passing the restaurant we expected to have to wait. Thankfully we were seated immediately. Our server Diamond was quite attentive and got our drinks quickly, took our orders. We were pleasantly surprised that she checked on us frequently until our meal was ready. The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Amazing food and service. It seemed almost impossible but they were incredible. We will be returning and recommending this as a spot to visit.More infoThe Simpson Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Fort Greene•4.6

- DDawnNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024We were in New York the Sunday before New Year’s, and had the great fortune of going to Sugar Bar. I seen Valerie Simpson on TV a few days before and it reminded me of this restaurant. So glad I happened upon that interview. A New York neighborhood restaurant bar was full of chatting people having a good time. The food was good. The drinks were great and the desserts scrumptious. More importantly, it was beautiful to pay how much to Ashford & Simpson. It reminded me of growing up with their music in the background. We went on a Sunday; next time I’ll be sure to go on a day that they have music!More infoSugar BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Upper West Side•4.6
