Best Southern American Restaurants in Apex

Always a delight to visit for a meal. Decided to go for New Year’s lunch and we were able to secure reservations at our selected time. Although the restaurant was crowded the service was quick to grace our table and was professional and courteous. On this big day, they had a Special Menu which we enjoyed. The food was perfect and we even took leftovers home for later. We are soooo glad they are back to regular operating hours. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves every time we visit.

The Pit never disappoints. Our meals are always very good. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Always a good experience.

We have enjoyed several excellent dining experiences at Vinnie's in the past, and last night's experience was another outstanding service. Shannon's service was delightful. We were served in a timely manner, and we did not feel rushed. Food presentation was as good as the food quality, and everything we experienced was terrific! Thanks, Vinnie's team, for an excellent experience.

Had reservation but ended up sitting in bar area high top where it was louder than normal due to some baseball fans really into the game. We liked the Octoberfest specials: good beer and the roasted apple kraut was outstanding. Overall was fine but would have preferred to have been seated at a regular table upstairs especially now that reservations are more or less required if you don't want to wait an hour on the weekend.
