Best Southern American Restaurants in East Austin

We got such good service at Peached Tortilla last night for my birthday dinner. they were attentive and sweet. Food .... so yum!!! the drinks were great and the final dessert that came with with a special birthday blessing was delightful.. so nice and perfect!

Lovely place! Loved the attention to ingredients and decor details. It was a smooth check in process. The reservation process was easy, and I had a really great brunch there with friends. It was classy, laid back and I even got a free birthday dessert! All the staff were so kind, and really made the atmosphere great.

Very nice atmosphere, sat outside under covered patio. Food was tasty, with a lot of options on the menu! Great service by our waiter Ben.

Overall a good experience. I think maybe due to short staffing there was a lack in checking in on table or filling water glasses. The truffle fries were great but not an adequate portion to be an appetizer for a table. Food was very flavorful and tasty. I would recommend pulling tails off shrimp in pasta so you don’t have to put your fingers in your meal. Ambiance was great. A lot of people going to the bar that it’s connected too but had to walk through the restaurant to get there, so they would squeeze by you.
