- JJennaMemphis / West Tennessee •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoJa was our waiter and he was so kind and very attentive. It was Valentine’s Day and Char was busy, but we never felt neglected. The crab cakes were amazing as always… my steak entree was perfectly cooked. My husband’s duck was a little more rare than he wanted but we were pleased nonetheless. We will be back!More infoChar - MemphisPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Memphis•4.7
- MMarcusMemphis / West Tennessee •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI had a wonderful dining experience here on Valentines Day 2025. The parking is about 300 feet from the door but they offer a complementary shuttle service as well as valet for $20. Upon entry I was immediately greeted by the host and sat after my reservation was confirmed. Everything that was ordered came to the table within five minutes or less and it was not just our sever helping but a team effort. Amber was our sever and she was very attentive, I was surprised to find out she was GM just helping out for the day. From the perspective of the customer the restaurant was running efficiently and you could not tell they were short staffed. The food came out hot and fresh and was delicious. I was also surprised that cocktails were moderately priced and they were all under $12. We also had a table by the window with added to the abeyance. Great service, food, and experience on a busy day; I was pleasantly surprised and impressed:More infoMahogany River TerracePrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.3
- CCLINTONVIPLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoLet me first start off by saying, I do not typically write reviews, if I enjoy the food/service at a restaurant, I return and dine repeatedly. But if I don’t like a restaurant, I simply don’t return and I tell all of my friends about poor service/food. I had an outstanding meal at McEwens last night. I was greeted by the owner, who was extremely warm and friendly. I sat at the bar, I enjoyed the yummy oyster appetizer and the out-of-this world Creole Ossobuco. I watched several meals come out of the kitchen, everything looked delicious. If you find yourself in Memphis, McEwen’s on Monroe is an absolute must. The next time I’m Memphis, I will certainly be back there for another great meal. Did I mention, the food was amazing but wasn’t overpriced. Cheers!!More infoMcEwen's on MonroePrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown•4.9

- JJanisMemphis / West Tennessee •24 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Oct 2024Two of us dined after a basketball game at FedExForum. The restaurant was not busy at 8:30 pm, and our server, Rae, promptly took our drink orders. I had a perfectly made Tito's and tonic. My cousin has a pot of Earl Grey tea. We shared the Ballers Brisket Sliders and the 901 Potato Skins. Both were very good. The sliders were sweet and smokey, served with BBQ sauce and fried onion rings on soft buns and a side of dill pickles, the French fries had a Cajun spice. The potato skins had a nice layer of potato with bacon, cheddar cheese, and scallions, served on a bed of lettuce with sour cream. We also ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta to-go for my cousin's son, who reported it was delicious! We look forward to returning many times during the basketball season. Our server, Rae, was attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely ask for her on our next visit!More infoCourtside GrillPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•2.8
