- MMichaelNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTook mom for her birthday dinner and she loved everything. From salad course to entree to the noise level, she was impressed. Raved about the food. Bacon wrapped scallops were very good and the fish soup with shrimp and clams were my personal favorites. Mom had carrot cake for dessert and loved it too! Come here for an intimate setting. Good date spot after an event in downtown Newark.More infoFornos of SpainPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Newark•4.7
- JJanelleNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was dinner with friends who are moving across the country, and the staff made everything lovely for us. The food was delicious and I especially liked the cocktail menu. The best time to come is Sunday afternoons to support live jazz with Rick Bogart on vocals and clarinet and Marc Daine on guitar. Not sure who is on double bass these days. It is a great crowd and Rick has a small group of guest singers that never disappoint. Tio Pepe’s has been around since 1970 & I hope it will be for many years to come. (Shout out to Claude Solliard for leadership that got us through the last few difficult years!)More infoTio Pepe NYCPrice: Moderate• Spanish• West Village•3.9
- PPAULNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFantastic Dining Experience The food quality was excellent! The tapas selection, including the steak tips, crab cakes, scallops, and clams, was superb—each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. While parking was initially a challenge, the extremely considerate staff quickly provided clear directions, making it a non-issue. The sangria was so good, it was almost dangerous! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top-notch food and service.More infoCasa de PacoPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• Newark•4.6
- FFrenchieNew York City •5 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoGreat quality food, ambience and service. The prices on the menus need to be updated as some are still outdated from the summer happy hours. We went during a work day around 3pm so there were no happy hours or specials at that time. Overall, we had a positive experience and it was enjoyable.More infoAdega GrillPrice: Expensive• Portuguese• Newark•4.9
