Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     This was a belated Anniversary meal as we have had a lot going on with Father in Law having a cancer related operation. The staff are all lovely but our main waiter was so intentive and made us both feel very special. His advice was perfect on quantity of meat and sides. Was always there topping up the wine and water. It was just what we both needed. A big thank you again.

    Been a few times since 2019, always excellent food, first time we have been since the menu has changed, its not particularly close to us but only 20-30 minutes away down the motorway, and we will return again, its a unique experience and well worth it. Only ever been on a Thursday so its pretty quiet, would love to come down some time when the entertainment is on!

    Steak night date night was just perfect for our anniversary. They brought us 2 glasses of champagne on the house and additionally a dessert platter for our anniversary. Really thoughtful and we felt really looked after. Can’t remember our waiters name but he was great and service was amazing. Definitely going back :)
