Best Steak Restaurants in Hawthorne / Gardena

We had the best lunch today! The service was friendly, accommodating, and prompt, even during a busy rush. We were seated right away for our reservation, and our server quickly greeted us and took our order. Drinks and food arrived timely, which was perfect for our lunch meeting, allowing us to finish within an hour. I had the yellowfin tuna salad and really enjoyed it - it was tasty and impeccably presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive from the moment we entered the restaurant to when we left. An all around 5 star experience!

Free Self parking and valet parking available. Seated on time of reservation. Table service was incredible-multiple staff attended to our table. Bread with flavored butter at no cost. Had the Tuesday fixed menu for two that included two salads, two steaks, two sides and two desserts-a great value. Every food item was very tasty and portions were large enough for take home leftovers.

This was founded by the original owners of Mastro’s and, before tonight, most of my wine buddies had been here and told me how much they loved it. “Best Steakhouse in LA” they told me! I was somewhat skeptical. Tonight, I experienced it for myself and it was truly wonderful! We had a very attentive and thoughtful server, Jess, whom I will absolutely request on my next visit there. She knows the menu inside and out, is not timid about making suggestions, and was not at all flustered by our “Sally-like” requests (from the movie with “everything on the side”!). We had one minor issue (the kitchen’s not Jess’) and after Jess fixed it for us to our complete satisfaction, the Manager came over to make sure. He was incredibly friendly; took ownership; comped dessert; and, frankly, reinforced the incredibly positive vibes I had gotten interacting with our servers and the hostesses on our arrival. All-in-all this is a fantastic restaurant with top-quality food, presented beautifully, and served lovingly. 5-Stars all the way!

Absolutely lovely Italian restaurant! Delicious cocktails and extensive food menu. The quality is great, service is wonderful, and the decor is charming. Highly recommend!!
