- QQueenieMontreal / Quebec •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSmall celebration with girlfriend and had the best time. Ordered many dishes to share together, and made space for desserts. We had the skewers, fennel salad, pesto rigatoni, grilled octopus, grilled rapini and loved their coffee granita tonight as dessert.More infoGia Vin et GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Westmount•4.9

The restaurant is stunning, with a beautifully designed space that exudes warmth and sophistication. The staff is equally impressive—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely fun to interact with. They made us laugh and were incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The presentation of the food was equally appealing, and it’s clear that attention to detail is a priority. However, the experience faltered when it came to execution. I ordered the Filet Mignon blue, but it arrived more cooked than I had requested, missing the mark on this delicate preparation. I also opted for a lobster tail, but unfortunately, it was served undercooked. When I sent it back, I was disappointed that the same tail was simply refired rather than replaced—a surprising choice, given the $26 price tag. To add to the frustration, it came back overcooked. That said, I don’t suspect these issues are a regular occurrence. It’s possible that their top chefs weren’t in the kitchen on December 26th—a busy time of year where inconsistencies can sometimes happen. Everything else we ordered was well-prepared and enjoyable, and the ambiance made the evening pleasant. With some improvements in food preparation, Firegrill has the potential to be exceptional. For now, it’s a good spot with some room to grow.More infoFiregrill-St-LaurentPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Ville St-Laurent/Mont-Royal•4.4
- FFrancineMontreal / Quebec •7 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Dec 2024Delicious dinner at Liverpool House last night. We ended up sitting at a table, not at the bar. Taylor, our waiter was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly and gave great advice on the menu and drink selection . The cod was perfectly done, very tasty. The bavette and fries also tasted amazing. The salad with green apple and cheese had a great taste, we want the recipe!! The dessert with a cheesecake topping and squash was perfect. All the other staff were very friendly and attentive, which created for a wonderful atmosphere.More infoLiverpool HousePrice: Very Expensive• French / Canadian• Griffintown/St-Henri•4.9
- BBrettMontreal / Quebec •2 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Dec 2024We had an amazing time. We learned of Joe Beef from an Anthony Bourdain special last year, and in March of this year we learned we were going to move here. We’ve been planning to go here since we arrived in August, and were finally able to make it. It was everything we hoped it would be, and we were able to try some amazing dishes. Staff are extremely attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely the first of many visits while we live here.More infoJoe BeefPrice: Very Expensive• French• Griffintown/St-Henri•4.8
