The ambience has always been lovely, food outstanding, and service top notch. Our waitress Tabitha was a rockstar! She constantly came back to fill my water as I arrived so thirsty from travel. Our meal came later than expected so she took the bottle of wine off our bill to compensate. Then she heard my boyfriend say my birthday was the next day and suddenly a beautiful big plate arrived with a lava cake, ice cream, whip cream and a candle ; with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate on the plate! (On the house!) it was a delightful surprise and brought me to tears. We return here once or twice a year and we will always love Rocks 21, its music, food, staff and will recommend it to others. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant! Is the only place that I go where I never put anything on the steak. No salt or pepper or anything. The way it is seasoned and the way it comes is perfect every time. I’ve been going to J. Gilbert for 25 years and it’s amazing that I’ve never had to send anything back to the kitchen. Our server was super sweet, my son loved her lol it was his birthday and he felt like royalty so we appreciate her, I wish I got her name but we went on Feb. 13, and she was blonde in a ponytail and glasses and my son was celebrating his bday with some yummy king crab legs and French fries lol overall this was an amazing experience.
