I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff. You truly made my fiancée and I’s night unforgettable. The romantic ambiance was incredibly warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. Although I can’t recall the names of my server and the hostess—who I believe was the lovely blonde lady in the rose shirt—I want you to know how much their efforts meant to us. I was so touched when she reached out earlier in the week to confirm our reservation and to inquire about how I planned to surprise my fiancée with the earrings. Knowing how anxious I was about the entire plan, it meant the world to have such thoughtful support from the team. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our night was memorable, and it absolutely was! Our server was fantastic as well. He really knew the menu inside and out, providing wonderful suggestions to help us navigate our first experience at the restaurant. We are already looking forward to making another reservation because this place has quickly become our favorite, even surpassing Hyde Park downtown in our eyes. We had an incredible experience at Hyde Park Steakhouse in the Short North. ANDREW was awesome and provided great wine pairings and food recommendations. I highly recommend the Graham Rahal Steak or Steak Tressel, Potato Gruyère Gratin, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lobster Bisque, and the Carrot Cake (even though Andrew almost sold us on the Butter Cake :) ).

Mitchell’s Ocean Club has always been a favorite for a fun evening at their bar. However, we decided to get a table for Valentine’s Day for a more intimate experience. We couldn’t have had a better time. We were warmly greeted by the hosts and then the greetings just kept coming. The young man serving water was equally as friendly and enthusiastic as the managers. You could sense that each staff member took great pride in their positions. Eric and Hannah were in good form as always, efficiently and managing their teams during a busy holiday evening. Always with a smile and positive attitude. Our server, Justin, was completely invested in our experience. His timing and awareness of our needs was impressive. He knew when to come check on us and when to give space. Not easy on a busy night. His suggestions were spot on so we tried things we might not have normally tried. The bread is scratch made and served hot. Not many restaurants even offer bread anymore. I ordered the 10oz lobster tail which was melt in your mouth delicious with perfectly cooked asparagus. My girlfriend enjoyed every bite of the Japanese A5 Wagyu strip steak. In addition we always share an order of our favorite, the goat cheese ravioli. It’s so easy to stay home and order in these days, but if you’re going to make the effort to go out to dinner, a first class experience, like Mitchell’s Ocean Club, makes it well worth your while. Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I enjoyed an early Valentine's dinner last night. Once again Jeffy Ruby's was perfect! We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious food. Dave our server was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. His recommendations for dessert were spot on, I've never had the butter pie and so glad I chose it, perfection! Of course the steak and lobster were perfectly cooked and delicious, like I would expect from Jeff Ruby's high quality beef and seafood selections. We are already looking forward to dining here again and we are still talking about how great our meals were last night!
