Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender and delicious, especially with the black garlic and tomato butter. Loaded baked potato was huge and delicious. We also got the creamed spinach that was topped with panko bread crumbs, which was fantastic. The rolls that they bring at the beginning of the meal are definitely habit forming, so save room for your entree.

We had reservations but decided to sit and eat at the bar. Vince the bartender was very courteous and attentive with our drinks and meal to the point he deliciously modified our drinks to perfection. As always, the seafood bisque and onion soup were superb. We had ordered the short rib which was a little on the tough side and could have had a little more gravy to compliment it. Otherwise, a great place located on the water who are great hosts to locals, regulars, and first time diners

The Menu at Cast Iron Chop House is vast and truly had something to offer everyone. We did not even get past the 20 or so appetizer options. We chose 4 and made them our meal. Each portion was very generous. The flavor profile and preparation of each dish was so well crafted. Our server Raoul was exceptional, a constant presence but not closing or intrusive. I will return for sure as we didn't tackle soups, salads, the majority of appetizers or any entree.
