- RRobinVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •39 reviews5.0Dined todayWe love it here! The food is always delicious and the service is always very friendly and intuitive. Even when my husband’s fish came out tough (no one could have known that until it was eaten) they were very apologetic, got him another freshly cut piece, and while preparing it got him a cup of the French onion soup. They also went over and beyond and didn’t charge us for his entree, which definitely didn’t need to be done. It was our anniversary (had rose petals on the table with heart confetti & a card…when we arrived) and they also brought us out a decorative plate (that they wrote Happy Anniversary on it) with our favorite dessert on it! This place is awesome! Highly recommend!More infoThe Capital Grille - SeattlePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8

We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they had confetti on table and a signed bday card for him! Brought him out a slice of the most amazing cake with a candle. - GGaryVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •23 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoPalisade is our go-to place for special occasions for our family and friends. Our besties just happen to have been married on Valentine’s Day so of course we came here for their Valentine’s Day special. The service was outstanding as always…our server treated us like old friends, and every employee we ran into acknowledged us. The food was excellent as always; started out with calamari as we usually do, which is as good as anywhere. The filet(s) were cooked perfectly, the slab of prime rib was enough for two people. The prawns were tasty but just a little tough and hard to get the tail off, but that’s the only criticism I can make of the whole meal. Everything was served hot, it was evident that nothing sat around before being delivered to our table. We’re already planning our next visit.More infoPalisadePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Magnolia•4.4
- AAndrewSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the pleasure of celebrating both Valentine’s Day and our anniversary at South Lake Union’s Daniels Broiler, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. Our server, Robert, was exceptional — perfectly attentive without ever being intrusive, and his extensive knowledge of the menu and wine list made our choices easy. He guided us to the perfect red blend to accompany our meal, enhancing the entire dining experience. We started with the crispy calamari and oysters on the half shell, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and impeccably prepared. For my entrée, I chose the crested Aji tuna, which was cooked to perfection, with beautiful flavors and a stunning presentation that looked almost too good to eat. My partner opted for Daniel’s filet mignon, which was prepared exactly as he requested — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We concluded our meal with Daniel’s Broiler’s signature coconut ice cream, complete with toasted coconut chips and a drizzle of hot fudge. It was simply out of this world. If you haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend it! A special thanks again to Robert for his fantastic service and to the chefs for delivering an exceptional meal. Every aspect of our evening was perfect — from the food to the ambiance to the flawless service. We will certainly be returning for more memorable nights like this one. - DDonnaSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Feb 2025I had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.7
