It is a fantastic treat to have cocktails and dinner at this Iconic restaurant. Pete the Matre D is warm and welcoming. We celebrated Valentine’s Day here and once again it didn’t disappoint! Our waiter was Luciano who we have had the good fortune to have him serve us for the third time. He was not only friendly and efficient in bringing us our food but also made time on a very busy night to listen to my husband’s jokes attentively. We both loved our bacon wrapped filets which were delicious, tender and cooked to medium rare perfectly. The cheese bread continues to be wonderful. The Beringer Cabernet complimented the filets We forgot to bring our bottle of champagne so we opted to bring home our whiskey bread pudding so we could enjoy it with our champagne. The perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Our only regret is that the warm bacon and spinach salad is no longer on the menu so we opted for the French onion soup which was good but we thought it would have been better with some more onions in it. We will definitely be back!

Food and ambiance were excellent. Service was slow and a little inattentive. Our reservation was at 5pm and we were sat very quickly but we did not leave the restaurant until almost 8pm because our server would leave us unattended for an extended amount of time.

We had a fantastic Valentine's Day lunch. Eric, our server, made our afternoon very enjoyable. He was a pleasure and very attentive to our needs. We were among the first guests for the day and what I noticed was that as staff was arriving they were genuinely happy to see each other. That is important because that is projected on to the customers also. It was easy to tell that they enjoyed their work, and they came together as a team to make our afternoon most enjoyable.

Started with Martinis and oysters… delicious… we both had the petite filet for the entree with the commentaries and green beans. The steak and peppercorn sauce were delightful. We finished with affogato and chocolate lava cake..a wi derful relaxed dinner with excellent service!
