Best Steakhouses in Broad Ripple / Meridian - Kessler

We dined at Sullivan’s Steakhouse at 4:15 on 12/25/24. The wait was reasonable, despite the crowd. Once seated, our server, Joshua C., took very good care of us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave great suggestions & kept our drinks filled. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, salads & our main courses without ever feeling rushed so they could seat another table—and didn’t leave until around 7:30. We’d be happy to return anytime…especially for a holiday dinner. After trying Eddie Merlot’s last year for both Thanksgiving & Christmas—this experience was very much above & beyond! Unlike Merlot’s—they did not run out of popular appwtizers or mains. Highly recommended!

Our visit was exactly what we went for! Excellent food, service, and ambiance! Our steaks were cooked perfectly! They are the best that we’ve ever had. The sides and desserts were delicious! We know we can count on that each time we go. Our server Fransisco was attentive with a great personality. We were very pleased with his service! You can’t go wrong with Ruth Chris for an occasion or a dinner out.

We had a great experience dining here. We love fogo but the service here far exceeds that. We arrived 30 mins before our reservation in hopes to make it to Christmas Eve mass on time and the hosts went above and beyond to seat us 15 mins early on such a busy night. You never had to wait as there was always a server there before you finished your last bite. Drinks were kept replenished. Best of all…as they were clearing our plates, I asked if I could have a small to go box to take a little piece of the leftovers home to our dog for a Christmas treat. They quickly cleared our plates and happily brought me back the to go container. We were surprised to find it was packed full of freshly sliced meat. The waiter told us to tell her was a special feast for Christmas. :) How thoughtful. I was blown away and she definitely enjoyed! The food was pretty comparable to Fogo but the service far exceeded. Thank you!

This was a family Christmas/birthday celebration. One of our members has celiac and therefore gluten free. This was noted in our reservation. Staff was aware and very accommodating. There was a gluten-free menu, but we also were told by the manager (who double checked our order with us) that many of the other selections could be made gluten-free and all we had to do was ask. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent/amazing and although I would never consider this inexpensive or even moderate every penny as well worth it.

Excellent service, delicious food, and well made drinks. You get your money's worth.
