Best Steakhouses in Escondido

Morton's never disappoints. Took the Family in for Christmas Dinner and they were hitting on all cylinders. From the greeting at the door to the desert at the end. This San Diego location is one of my favorites, gift recommend if you find yourself in the area.

Xmas eve family dinner Food quality was 5 stars highlights ahi tuna, fillets, lobster bisque, expresso martinis, Service 10 stars Scotty and crew were amazing . He/ they made the experience really special thanks to all Highly recommended Island Prime

We finally tried Steak 48 and it definitely lives up to the hype! Had a wonderful Christmas eve early dinner. It was a treat to sit at the bar-James, the bartender was friendly, made excellent drinks & further detailed the menu. We ordered the crisp shrimp appetizer, bone-in rib-eye, bone-in filet & roasted cauliflower. All were fantastic, cooked perfectly/as we ordered & came out sizzling hot. Quality of food is superb, as was the service and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks, James & Steak 48!

We came in this evening for the Fall trio, which was a steak and two kinds of shrimp. It was excellent and plenty of food. The steak was tasty and tender this evening, as the sirloin is sometimes grainy and tough. It was more like the tender sirloin at TX roadhouse. The au gratin potato were cheesy and the salad fresh. Food was excellent and good value. The restaurant itself was quite busy in the 6 o'clock hour on a Saturday evening, but that is to be expected. With our reservation, we were seated immediately. A nice evening.
