Best Steakhouses in German Village

Another great meal & experience at Hyde Park. We've tried all the other options & HP continues to be our favorite for both quality of food & service. We even gave Jeff Ruby 3 tries to unseat HP, but the food quality just wasn't there for us. Happy to be back!

Had to be one of the finest dining experiences in my life. Waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was exceptionally great. We had the miso sea bass & lamb chops. Sweet rolls, carrots & Anna potato. The ambiance reminded me of dining at a high end Vegas restaurant. Valet parking was affordable and convenient.

We were greeted promptly, and sat quickly as we walked in the door. Our server Hjen was amazing, as we told her our anniversary was coming up soon, but was not on this specific date. She still gave us a free dessert to compliment our meal. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, and gave amazing explanations of everything we were interested in. Our drinks were delicious, but the best part was certainly the Cowboy Ribeye, which came sizzling out of the kitchen, and was complimented by the Au Gratin Potatoes, and Mashimi Mushrooms. Just an absolute master piece of a meal, with great service!

I was very pleased with the entire dinning experience. From the minute we pulled up we were treated as we were the only ones in the restaurant Our server was outstanding, very pleasant and knew how to read the room. The food was almost perfect. It’s hard to complain about anything. But I will because that’s what reviews are for. The apps tuna tar tar perfect, the oysters perfect, the steaks perfect, the Brussel sprouts amazing! creme brûlée almost perfect. The taste was on point but lacked the texture/crunch on top. I still give our experience 10 out of 10!! Can’t wait to come up with a reason to go back!!

Mitchell’s is such a staple for steakhouses. Ambience is always a 10/10. I dined Christmas Day with my family. My lobster bisque was cold but dinner top tier. My waiter didn’t want to be at work at all and it showed. However, management and other staff were Amazing. It’s one of my favs and I’ll return. Happy Holidays
