Best Steakhouses in Menlo Park

Service is excellent! Food is great! Ambiance, nostalgic.

Found this gem in downtown PA. The meal was excellent! We tried the sweet and sour shrimp and hummus for starters. The cucumber and tomato salad was delicious- very flavorful. We shared the halibut special and ribeye. Both were excellent choices. The presentation and recommendation of how to eat the ribeye (roasted garlic, salt, and butter) - two thumbs up!!!

Overall, excellent. Just a couple comments: First, the appetizers came out very quickly (a good thing TM) but they beat our initial drinks (wine and beer) by a good 10 minutes. Second, I ordered the filet mignon "medium" because I had been at a Las Vegas steakhouse recently where "medium rare" was barely warm meat. But here the steak came out cooked truly medium and on a very hot plate. So if you like medium rare, you can trust them to do it right, I think. No complaints about how they cooked my steak; just saying I was too conservative in how I ordered it. All food was excellent; service very attentive. It's a louder place but by the end, it had emptied out and quieted down. We were there 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday. If it wasn't quite so expensive, we'd go more often.

We chose Hurrica Restaurant for our holiday team luncheon, and it was such a great experience! The holiday ambiance was beautiful and made the celebration feel really special. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The host at the door greeted me with a warm smile, answered all my questions, and even asked if I needed anything, like water, while I waited in the entrance. That little gesture made me feel really cared for and set a positive tone for the rest of the visit. Everything about the experience—from the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive service—was fantastic. I’d definitely go back again and highly recommend Hurrica for anyone planning a holiday gathering or team event.

Brussel sprouts were amazing as always. We were a group of 4 so we shared the Tomahawk and it was plenty. Drinks were also fantastic with a wide range from spirit forward to pleasantly sweet.
