Best Steakhouses in Oakland

I ordered the Calamari for an appetizer and it was very good. I then ordered the Porterhouse steak for 2 and it was plenty. No need for any sauce, the meat was made perfectly and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the Thai chili Brussel sprouts and it was flavorful however there was too much sauce and the sprouts were very small. Overall the food and atmosphere was great and I would recommend.

This has been our go to spot for special occasions ever since our first visit. We’ve celebrated our engagement, city hall wedding, birthdays and anniversaries there. Today we celebrated my husband and step daughter’s birthday. It was a nice night, the food was great, and our server Lennon was very good and attentive. Thanks again for another great meal and even better memories! 😊

Black Bull steakhouse was the best decision I've made in a long time. I went for an anniversary dinner and it was the most exceptional dining experience I've had in a long time. As someone who has been working full-time in every facet of the hospitality industry, I could not have been more impressed. My meal was the 16 oz Bone-In Filet that was cooked to perfection at Medium Rare, and her meal was the 8 oz. Filet cooked to perfection at medium. The service was prompt, knowledgable and incredibly swift. Leo provided world-class service and he deserves a promotion. If you get the luxury of dining at Black Bull Steakhouse, Leo is the only server I want going forward!

We came for a celebration dinner and the experience was top notch! From the beginning, our server, Matt was excellent in his recommendations, especially for my daughter who must eat gluten free. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the filet mignon to the fish to the pasta. Highly recommend -

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival which sets a comfortable tone…. Yanni and crew are always excellent! Great steaks, delicious sides, good wine/drinks and tasty desserts. The overall experience was outstanding! And it ended with a heartfelt “thank you.”
