Best Steakhouses in Ocean Grove

We are regular diners at this lovely Sea Bright restaurant. Although the weather was really cold and rainy, it was worth it as it was the Saturday after Valentine’s Day, and we wanted to go to someplace special. We will not let down . There is a side dining room that was set up for just for the occasion, and we were fortunate to have a great waiter (Mike, who may also be the assistant manager). The room was quiet and setting romantic. We had their Valentine’s Day special of fillet mignon and shrimp both delicious. Although we had a special for two, they paid attention to cooking details individually, which was great Mike’s SERVICE was just great. He paid attention to everything.. We had a bottle of Grillo to compare to the bottle we had last time . Still very good but I think the one we had last time was a bit better. Mike suggested a Keylime pie for dessert and we split a piece which was just enough to leave a wonderful ending impression. We recommend this place highly and will be back .

All around everything was amazing. It was easy to book a reservation on open table . Did it an hour before we left to restaurant. Everybody was very polite and personable from the person seating us to our table to our waitress and all the Busing staff. The FOOD was delicious!! I thought the prices were going to be higher for the steaks, it was nyc prices. I did think the drinks were a bit $$ so 1 drink was enough unfortunately. Overall I would recommend.

We visited Brandi’s on a cold and windy Wednesday evening. Our favorite server, Vincent and food runner, Arturo gave us a warm welcome as usual. For dinner we began with Fritto Misto, a mix of large shrimp, calamari and hot peppers in a crunchy, golden crust. It’s served with a sweet chili sauce which complements the dish perfectly. For entrees we enjoyed the Puttanesca with linguine, tomatoes, olives, capers and anchovies. The other pasta dish was Scamp Arrabiatta which consisted of shrimp, garlic, parsley, chili flakes over rigatoni. The pasta was cooked al dente and was scrumptious. We finished our meal with a coffee, cappuccino and shared a Molten Chocolate cake served with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. The cake was warm, and not overly sweet.

This was our first visit to Steakhouse 85. We enjoyed the whole experience. The food, service, value and ambiance were top of the line. We were there on their Date Night. For $125 a couple, you get an appetizer, entree, desert and bottle of wine from their short list. The selections for Date Night gave us good choices and we chose things that we were going to order originally. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it!

The meal was absolutely delicious. Having the meat come around to you is a fun experience. The salad bar also delighted us! Don’t forget to grab a small cup to put the chimichurri sauce and the horseradish dip in for your meat!
