This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. You just can’t beat the view of the city lights and the Island Prime team is personable. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday memorable.

One of the best restaurants in San Diego. From the beginning to the end, they go above and beyond. Very delicious and a great dining experience.

The restaurant is a kind of an awkward layout but it is beautifully decorated. I love the presentation of the seafood & kitchen and the transparency of the pastry kitchen. Service is impeccable here and my server was so cheerful. My group loved the chicken-fried lobster; thought it was the sweetest lobster. The 12 oz filet mignon was perfection as were the side of mushrooms. I had the Chilean sea bass last week and it was the best Chilean sea bass that I've ever had (and I've had my fair share) in both terms of cut and quality; not as good this time as it was a bit fishy and it was a smaller cut. Dessert was great. Their pastry chefs are so creative. We loved the presentation of the beignets on the tree and the triple chocolate bombe. The key lime pie was delicious! All and all, a very enjoyable night out!

The food and atmosphere are top-notch, yet Annette, our server made our evening. She is very good at knowing what tastes good! Follow her lead and you cannot go wrong. We went for our 30th wedding anniversary and Annette made our evening special! Thank you, Annette!
